Step 2 ~ The Problem We Face – Separation from God

Sin separates individuals from God. The result of this separation from God is death because, without a relationship with God, one cannot enter into his promise of eternal life.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23

There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.
Proverbs 14:12

But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear.
Isaiah 59:2

 Jesus bridged the gap between us and God by dying on the cross.
